Why Adventure Goals?Life is an adventure in itself, an amazing one at that. There are so many exciting things to do and experience in this lifetime. Think about adventure life goals as a way to really create some incredible memories. When you think about your past and good things that you've done, its likely that many of the things you remember fondly involve things you've done that had some element of adventure. What makes an activity an adventure?? It's likely that one or more of the following were involved: - A place you've never been before - An element of risk or danger that is outside of your comfort level - An activity involving travelling through the land, water or air - Something that elevates your heart rate - Travel to a foreign destination - Meeting new people in new places

This trip was postponed due to COVID delays, later this year. I'll update you on this trip later this year! Goal Achievement TipI've just finished reading my third book as part of my goal to read 7 books this year.----------- DRIVEN by ROBERT HERJAVEC, Co-Star of Dragons' Den and Shark Tank "How to succeed in Business and in Life" (subtitle) -----------
Robert Herjavec has lived the classic "rags to riches" story, from having $ 20 in his pocket to starting up technology companies worth hundreds of millions of dollars. This son of Croatian immigrants earned his incredible wealth by overcoming the odds with hard work and determination. For any of you who believe you have the entrepreneurial mindset to start and run your own company, READ THIS BOOK. Robert has excellent information on outlining if you have what it takes to start your own successful business. SOME OF THE KEY TAKEAWAYS FROM THIS BOOK INCLUDE: "Write down no more than five or six goals for your business and consult them on a regular basis" "If you lack a creative sense, you may be a highly effective manager, but you will never be a successful entrepreneur. In one sense, starting a business is as creative as writing a novel or painting a landscape" "Only someone who is determined to reach his or her destination despite all obstacles, and who honestly enjoys developing something out of nothing, will overcome the inevitable challenges" "To succeed in business, you have to do three things: work your butt off, be extravagant with your dreams but practical with your expenses, and avoid thinking about failure" "Unless you can't wait to get started on building your business each day when you wake up, reconsider your goal" "Of all the qualities needed to make it in business, none is more important than belief in yourself and passion to reach your goal" "Search for a career that ignites passion in you and, having identified it, do whatever is need to equip yourself for a lifetime pursuing it. For some people, it's athletics. For others, it's music or medicine, writing or teaching or some other career"
If you read this book, you will also learn some valuable insights to the pitches he has heard as being part of Dragons Den and Shark Tank. This book was a great inspirational read from one of the great successful entrepreneurs of our time!
Next newsletter . . .My next newsletter will be on August 1st where I will focus on LIFESTYLE GOALS and how to live a great life based on the lifestyle you desire!
