QUOTE OF THE DAY

"My goal is to not be better than anyone else, but to be better than I use to be". Wayne Dyer

Start with these 10 life goals!

Each of the 10 life goal categories at the 100 Goals Club start with the most important life goal for each category. They build from what is a logical starting point to more advanced life goals so that you walk before you run.

1. Personal Development - Read Self Help.

Key to your personal development goals is recognizing that the self help field is made up of hundreds of successful people in all areas of life, who have written books and recorded audio, providing information and tips on why and how to achieve all the possible goals you wish to achieve in your life. Reading Self Help will serve as an excellent foundation for your personal development and provide endless inspiration. https://www.100goalsclub.com/best-self-help-books.html

11. Health and Fitness - Eat healthy

To accomplish your 100 Life Goals, you will need to eat healthy to support you in your quest for health and fitness. To feel good and happy, we need to be in good health. Without good health, not much else matters. Eating healthy is a great place to start. https://www.100goalsclub.com/why-eat-healthy.html

21. Family and Friends - Choose good friends

It is said that our success in life will be the average of our closest 5 or 6 good friends. Ensure that you develop long and lasting friendships with people of substance: people who inspire you to be your best, are good role models for you, and who always encourage you to live the life you deserve. https://www.100goalsclub.com/relationship-goals-good-friends.html

31. Hobbies and Passions - Have a hobby

Goals for exploring your hobbies and passions are one of the most important areas in terms of living a life that is uniquely you. There are literally hundreds (and even thousands) of hobbies, passions and interests which you can get involved with. It is important to establish your hobbies and passions before you turn 30, before your career and family take over. If you don't have a hobby that you are passionate about now, find one. https://www.100goalsclub.com/life-goals-hobbies-and-passions.html

41. Financial - Learn personal finance 101

Once you graduate from school and start living on your own, your ability to understand and manage your money will have a massive impact on the rest of your life. If you’re like most people, you’ve had very little formal education on how money works and how to manage it. You may be craving financial advice. Either you learn to manage your money, or money will manage you. Explore my financial goals for inspiration on setting life goals on developing your financial life. https://www.100goalsclub.com/learn-personal-finance.html

51. Career - Do a career assessment

In doing a career assessment and looking at your career aspirations, it’s important to understand who you are as a person and what your natural strengths and weaknesses are. Your future depends on it. If you are in a career, assess whether you are in the right career. Don't spend the next 20 years working in a career that leaves you unfulfilled. https://www.100goalsclub.com/career-assessment.html

61. Adventure - Take a family driving adventure

There is nothing like an auto adventure driving vacation, with family, to create lasting memories. A vacation in which you drive instead of fly is much less expensive, which is especially important in your earlier years with travel. During COVID-19, this is a perfect life goal to focus on. My family drove across Canada as part of our driving adventure. Read about it here . . . https://www.100goalsclub.com/auto-adventure.html

71. Travel - Take a staycation

One of the opportunities that many of us miss out on is to be a tourist in our own area in which we live. Some of us live in or near a city that tourists from all over come to visit, but because it’s in our own backyard, we don’t think to visit it ourselves. Make a goal to visit the top 10 local attractions within an hour of your home. https://www.100goalsclub.com/what-is-a-staycation.html

81. Lifestyle - Eat at great restaurants

Eating at good restaurants is one of the great pleasures of life! If you live in an urban area, there are so many wonderful restaurants where you can experience foods and cultures from around the world, with excellent service and inspiring ambience and atmosphere. This is an excellent way to start enjoying a good lifestyle. Be reasonable though, spending too much money on eating out may not compatible with your financial goals. https://www.100goalsclub.com/good-restaurants.html

91. Leaving a Legacy / Giving Back - Keep a life journal

Keeping a life journal is one of the best things you can do to record, in written word, things in your life that you’ve done, and things that you’ve experienced and thought throughout your life. I write in my journal almost every day. Imagine your grand children finding one of your journals 100 years from now. It will be treasured I'm sure. https://www.100goalsclub.com/reasons-to-journal.html

Make your next car electric

Life goal # 89 in the category of lifestyle goals led to me purchasing my dream car, a Tesla Model 3, a fully 100% electric car.

Recently Tesla hosted "Battery Day", where Elon Musk presented his vision for the future. Because of advances in battery technology and cost reductions in Electric Vehicles, it is widely believed that the Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles will be obsolete within 10-20 years.

If you are in the market for a new vehicle, you should strongly consider going electric. My assessment was that the cost of ownership over the long term is less than buying an ICE vehicle.

Check out the reasons why I purchased my Model 3: https://www.100goalsclub.com/car-goals.html

Tesla has committed to release a new electric car for $ 25,000 within the next 3 years, making it affordable for most people in the market for a new car!

I believe so much in the long term future of Tesla, that their stock has become an important part of our investment portfolio. If you have money to invest and you are comfortable with it being a long term investment decision (i.e. more than 5-10 years), I recommend you consider investing in Tesla (TSLA). Projections by some prominent analysts are that it will make investors a lot of money, as Electric Vehicles replace ICE vehicles and where Tesla has at least a 5 year lead over ALL competitors.

Check out Cathy Wood from ARK Invest. It is her number one holding in her Exchange Traded Funds (ETF's). Also check out Steven Mark Ryan's YouTube videos where he presents the case for buying Tesla stock! Seriously, search him out. You'll love his confidence.
